The first of two public meetings regarding the proposed closure of Hereford and Worcester Emergergency Operations Centre in the reconfiguration process takes place at Worcester County Hall Wednesday 8th August 2007 1830.  The second is at Hereford Town Hall Thursday 16th August 2007 1830.  Members of the public may wish to attend.
 
If you support the move to keep your local EOC open and serving the community of Herefordshire and Worcestershire, voice your opinion.  Lobby your MP and local councillor, air your views on local radio and in letters to the editor of local papers, but if you do only one thing, do this:

consultation@wmas.nhs.uk  with constructive ideas as to why you believe the control room should remain in its present location and why you believe the Board should reach that conclusion too.
